Candle Smoke Ground MK 32

• This is designed for producing stable,thick and non-toxic smoke of very high degree of screening power, behind whichtroops and materials can be protected from the enemy observance and aimed fire.The smoke thus produced,helps the troops to rereat undisturbed.

• The cylindrical case which contains the smoke composition is made of tinned plate.After filling of smoke composition the case is closed with a lid made of the same material. The firing arrangament consists of a tinned plate thimble which protrudes through a central hole in the lid and contains a blob of friction composition with a thin layer of priming composition and quick match underneath.The store is manufactured to Government of India, Ministry of Defence specification No. 1A-833 and drawing No. ICW 24.

SAFETY

• The top part of the candle is covered with water proofing paper.
  The friction igniter is closed by a lid, to avoid accidental ig_

• The raw materials used for components are tested by Independent
  Quality Assurance Wing. During manufacturing stage, qualitysurv_
  eillance by both producer and Army's representatives is provided. 
  Important components are proof tested and only accepted components
  are taken for final assembly.Final store is tested statically for
  time of burning.

• Due to its sound and simple design and careful manufacture,the st_
  ore is reliable for use in combat field environment.

• Shelf life of this ammunition is 8 years.
