CSES Grenade Red/Green/Yellow

• This grenades are launched from a submerged submarine to communicate with ships, air crafts and other submarines at periscopic depth to indicate distress or to pass pre-arranged messages.

• When the grenade is launched, it starts rising to the surface due to its own buoyancy, as it moves up the impeller starts unscrewing and enevtually falls off. This helps to move the striker forward to fire the primer. It ejects bright flare in the air at a height of more than 300 mtrs. And also emits dense smoke of the same colour on the sea surface.

• These cartridges are very easy to carry and operate and are fired from launching pad of a submerged submarine to communicate with ships, aircrafts and other submarine.
