TEAR SMOKE SHELLS

• These all weather projectiles have been developed as powerful irritant gas generators for crowd dispersal. A flat profile ensures cart wheeling in the air and reduces risk of injury. These emit tear gas for 30+/- secs after a delay of 5+/- 1sec

  MK-IV TEAR SMOKE GRENADE -ANTI_RIOT

• Developed to check throwing back of grenade at the security forces .The body,made of plastic ,melts when the grenade bursts making its throwing back difficult.Emits tear gas for 40+/- 10 seconds after a delay of 1+/-0.2 Seconds.

  3-WAY TEAR SMOKE GRENADE-ANTI-RIOT

• The grenade is made up of three parts which separate when the grenade bursts.Each part emits tear gas for 30+/- 10 seconds after a delay of 2+/=0.2 seconds.Ideal for covering large areas quickly.

  DYE MARKER GRENADE -AMIT

• The Dye Maker grenade helps security forces to counter the dile- mma of identifing rioters.A hand thrown grenade,it explodes with a resounding bang sparying an indelible coloured dye on the miscreants.This dye remains on the person or on his cloths for more than 48 hours ,thus helping the police in identification and proving categorically the presence of an individual in the riot.

  TWO IN ONE SHELL -PRAVIR

• It is a combination of the stun and lachrymatory shell.Fired from a conventional gas gun,it splits into two parts in the air.One part explodes in the air with a loud bang and blinding flash while the other emits tear smoke.It checks instances of the tear smoke shells/grenades being thrown back at the police by the miscreants. The resounding bang and high intensity flash acts as a deterrent to the crowd breaking their morale and causing them to disperse.

  DUAL SHELL -DHOOM KETU

• A combination of two lachrymatory shells,the Dual Shell has been designed to saturate the target area with tear smoke in the shortest possible time.Fired to 100+/- 10 m from a conventional gas gun ,it splits into two in the air and each part emits large Volumes of tear smoke for 30 =/- 10 sec after a delay of 3+/- sec The splitting action ensures large area coverage and checks throwing back of the shells.

• The stun series of munitions has been developed for storming of terrorist hide-outs,hostage and seige situations and flushing out barricaded criminals.These include stun grenades which are non-concussion,non-fragmentation grenades which explode with a resounding bang and a blinding flash, conventional gas gun to a distance of 100+/- 10 m and can be used by law enforcing agencies in dealing with violent mobs as an intermediary munition between tear gas and bullets.

  STUN LAC GRENADE-PRACHAND

• it is modified versions of the conventional Three Way Grenade. On being thrown,the grenade splits into three parts.While two parts emit tear smoke,the third explodes with a resounding bang and blinding flash.It combines the effect of lachrymatory and stun Grenade

  CR MUNITIONS

• Tear smoke grenades and shell are also available with CR filling These are several times more irritant than CN filled munitions and can be used in special operations like flushing pout of barricaded miscreants,or dealing with violent mobs.

  WOOD PIERCING SHELL -RUDRA

• The Wood piercing Shell has been developed for use by the security Forces against barricaded miscreants in flushing out operations. Fired with the gas gun,it is capable of penetrating a wooden barricade of 1 inch thickness ,from a range of 60 to 70 metres.The shell is fin stabilised and can be fired accurately by trained firers.

  RIFLE LAUNCHED GRENADES -COMET AND ANGAAR

• Refile Launched Grenades covers a large area quickly at a distance of 100+/- 50 metres with CN/CR irritants gas. These multi-purpose tear smoke grenades can be thrown by hand or launched with the ] help of 0.303 GF rifle using balastite catridge and discharger cup or 7.62 mm SLR using HD cartridges and projector.

SELF PROTECTION DEVICE-RAKSHAK

• It has been developed for protection of VIPs,Security staff,bank cashiers and ladies.The device resembles a perfume spray bottle but is filled with Cn aerosol.If sprayed on the face of the miscreant, it causes instant irrition of eyes and nasal passage,immobilising the miscreant temporarily

  ELECTRIC TS GRENADE

• A modified version of the tear smoke grenade,the device can be fitted at strategic locations in the perimeter fencing, courtyards, teller/cashier booths in banks or prisons.It can be intiated electrically/electronically or by remote control.

  VEHICLE MOUNTED TS DEVICE -KAVACH

• To ensure safety of vehicles and security personnel, this electrically operated device can be fitted on police vehicles and triggered from the dash board.Copious tear gas would be released for 40 +/- seconds around the vehicle.It can also be used strategically to cover a large area quickly with tears gas.

  STUN GRENADE MK-III -NAAG PASH

• It has been developed to guard restricted areas against illegal intruders. On being intiated ,it explodes with a resounding bang and blinding flash temporarily stunning the intruders and warning the security forces. it is electrically intiated with trip wire/conventional security fencing using a dry battery/current.The grenade is placed in a container to protect against rain/dew/snow.

  FLOATING TS DEVICE-MAGAR

• The device is designed to float in water and can be used by the coast guards and security forces to temporarily incapacitate water borne miscreants and smugglers or for protection of offshore installations.Once intiated,it discharges large volumes of irritant gas 50-60 secs. Multi Barrel Launcher 'AGNI VARSHA' has been developed for augmenting the fire power of Security Forces.
