Shel l105mm IFG ILLG.belongs to the family of IILG.Ammunition used extensively to support night warefare.It provides intense illuminition for identification and engagement of all types of stationary and moving objects.

The ILLG.Shell is fired alongwith cartg. from Indian Field Gun.It can achieve range upto 17Kms.The variable ranges are achieved by addition of charges.The shell is fired with time mechanical fuze,present to ensure ejection at the desired height and range.The illuminant canister supported with para cute spin break system provides intense illumination on the ground covering an area of 600 mtrs.Radius.

The stowage dimensions of one of the box wooden/steel(holding
