Shell 105mm IFG BE Smoke

Shell 105mm IFG BE Smoke belongs to the family of emission type screening Smoke Ammunition used for screening and counter surveillance purpose in the combat field .It produces uniform thick opaque screen over a widearea to facilitate tactical deployment of troops and shielding from direct enemy attack.

Shell 105mm BE colour smoke is similiar emission type smoke ammunition producing uniform dense colour smoke in red,orange and blue colours for signalling purposes.

The Shell is fired Indian Field Gun.It requires filled Cartg case at the time of firing .The shell is provided with Time Mechanical Fuze to facilitate ejection of the smoke canister at any range upto 17 Kms. The smoke shell is provided with 4 smoke canisters,which spread over an area of about 100 metres wide and produces very effective thick smoke belt. Similiarly colour smoke is emitted from the colour smoke variety.

Base ejection system ensures uniform deployment of smoke canister 
on the ground .

PACKING

Packing consists of an inner package and an outer package. Two inner packages are of laminated paper container with metallic end caps.Two such containered shells are put in the steel box,which fit for airdrop and is sea worthy.Gross weight of each box containing 2 bombs is 52 kgs.

STOWAGE DIMENSIONS.

	The stowage dimensions of one of the box wooden/steel(holding
	two shells)is 750X355X210 mm.
